Leva Stam (mare line 58 - breeding family 711)
The Leva mare line originates from the first registered brown Oldenburg mare Henrike in 1896. The first mare with Leva in her name was the star preference Uleva born in 1952 from the model mare Eleve who had the model preferent Ulonia as mother.
Romanaleva SAG Sport (Spr.) 1.35M
Romanaleva SAG's sire is the stallion Laroche who performed at 1.40M level, just as many of his offspring performed at the highest level. Laroche has the famous stallion Concorde as father and as grandfathers the legendary Nimmerdor and Voltaire. her dam is Lady Leva who is also the dam of Estefano who was sold at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales (DSHS) in 2014 and is also the grandmother of the international 1.45M jumping Chivu under the Norwegian rider Siril Sonsteby.
Lady Leva (Spr.) 1.30M
Lady Leva's sire is Faldo, who performed at 1.60M level and descends from the Oldenburg stallion Purioso. Lady Leva's dam is the Ster Sport (Spr.) Mare Eleva with whom the northern show jumper Jan Burema achieved many successes at national level 1.35M
Eleva Ster Sport(Spr.) 1.35M
Eleva descends from Werastosthenes and through him we come to the sires Heidelberg and Ladykiller. her mother is the Ster Preferente Performance mare Valeva who passed on the performance genes to her children and grandchildren.
Valeva Ster Preferent Prestatie
Valeva is a descendant of the Preferent Thoroughbred stallion Pericles. Her mother the Ster mare Raleva is the grandmother of many high-performing grandchildren including the Selle Francais approved stallion Geraldo. Raleva has as her mother the Ster mare Maleva and as grandmother the Model Preferent Aleva who comes from the Ster Preferente Uleva the first mare with Leva in her name.
Romanaleva SAG therefore comes from a strong dam line from which many national and international jumpers have emerged, such as e.g. the Grand Prix show jumpers: the Selle Franciais stallions Geraldo and Extreme, with which Leslie Howard won team silver at the Atlanta Olympics. And Miss Opstalan, Alex (Piergiorgio Bucci) and Oliver Q (Harrie Smolders) also come from this famous Leva line.
Romanaleva SAG's sire is Laroche, who comes from the Sinaa line (mare line20 - breeding family 398). This mare line is also bred by us. The great-grandfather of Romanaleva SAG, the stallion Weratosthenes, comes from the Granta line (mare line 81 - breeding family 183) and this is the mare line with which we started our breeding. Via Romanaleva SAG, therefore, three famous mare lines are brought together. Mare lines that belong to the top 40 of all mare lines in the Netherlands as can be seen in the article of De Paardenkrant..
That the breeding value of Romanaleva SAG is firmly anchored by this, is evident from the fact that of her 4 descendants so far the two oldest are already fully performing in showjumping, the other 2 are still too young to be released.
Her son Bryon SAg (by Indorado) is currently being released by Anthea Cusin in France in 1.25m and 130m classes and also do instructor training in Saumur.
Her daughter Vitanaleva SAG ster prestatie sport (v. Niveau) is performing at 1.30 classes
Her son Gabryon SAG (v. Glasgow van het Merelsnest) just startet his career of a showjumper
And at the moment she has Gyon (by Glasgow van het Merelsnest) as a foal
Being able and willing to perform at a high level is therefore firmly anchored in the genes of this mare line
